An Adventure
Has anyone ever taken a spontaneous adventure to satisfy a craving or reduce stress. A true adventure is short notice and long distance. Excitement eliminates stress, anticipation amplifies craving. I have thought about getting away for a while but too obsessed with work and the peaks and valleys of life. Lately the valleys have been like the ones in Psalm 23. I believe the quote is "Yea though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil". So without being an overdramatic superchristian, I have decided the antidote is a weekend in Paris. Now that the summer terrorist season is over, what could be better than Roast chicken at L'Epi Dupin, Turbot at Chez George on the left bank and Macaroons at Laduree.... among other gratuitous eating.
